That’s why reservations for Commencement weekend must be requested one year in advance. Reservation requests for Winter 2017 Commencement are currently open. The Biddle Hotel is currently fully booked for May 2018 Commencement weekend, but you are encouraged to contact the staff about cancellations.

Other places to stay
Most other hotels in Bloomington require reservations a year in advance and require a two- or three-night stay, with an increase in rates. Rooms go quickly, so call as soon as reservations open.
Neighboring cities and towns
A handful of communities (Bedford, Nashville, and Columbus) are within 40 miles of Bloomington and have branches of national hotel chains. Downtown Indianapolis is about 50 miles from Bloomington, within a 60- to 90-minute drive.
