Commencement Day

You are invited to participate in the 2024 Winter Commencements if you are a graduate student or undergraduate who plans to complete the requirements for your degree in the 2024 fall term.

You are invited to participate in the 2025 Spring Commencements if you are a graduate student or undergraduate who plans to complete the requirements for your degree in the 2025 spring or summer term. 

There is no summer Commencement ceremony.

While you're looking ahead, make sure you take all the steps needed to get you to Commencement, like applying to graduate, ordering your apparel, and more.

Guests

Guests of graduates should make travel plans well in advance of Commencement. There are also lots of great dining options to have a celebratory meal before or after the ceremony.

Faculty

This day is the end of a journey for graduates, and faculty are an important part of that journey. Be part of this significant moment, too! Get details on ordering your apparel and more.

Commencement was a time for me to reflect on joys of the past and consider promises of the future because of attending IU. The ceremony was a beautiful way to recognize both.
