Family members or friends of international students can apply for a U.S. visitor visa at their nearest U.S. embassy or consulate. Not all embassies or consulates require the same documents for a visa application, so it is important for your guests to consult the embassy or consulate they plan to visit.
Encourage your guests to apply for a visa as early as possible.
