Attend Countdown to Commencement, GradFair at IU South Bend
Join us from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Fireside A&B (next to University Grill) for Countdown to Commencement, GradFair. You’ll be able to:
- enter to win a free cap and gown for the ceremony
- order a cap and gown if you haven’t already done so
- purchase graduation announcements and keepsakes
- have a portrait taken in a cap and gown
- learn how to join the IU Alumni Association to become IU Proud
- explore graduate program options

Cap Decorating Party
Date: Wednesday, May 3, 2023
Time: 10 a.m.–8 p.m.
Location: Grill and Fireside A&B
Details: Decorate your cap, connect with your fellow graduates, and enjoy the food and festivities.
Graduate Open House
Date: Tuesday, May 9, 2023
Time: 2 p.m.–5 p.m.
Location: IU South Bend campus mall
Details: Return to campus to celebrate your achivements at the Graduate Open House. Bring your family and friends to campus for pictures, introduce them to faculty and staff, and take part in the Titan Toast at this event celebrating you!
