Getting the Accommodations You Need
- Closed captioning and sign language interpreting are available at the Spring Undergraduate Commencement ceremony.
- Guests in need of these services are encouraged to ask attendants for seating where these services can be easily viewed.
- All guests with wheelchairs enter Memorial Stadium via entry E3 on the east side of the stadium.
- Guests with wheelchairs and other members of their parties should ask a uniformed attendant for seating assistance once their parties are complete. Saving seats is not permitted in Memorial Stadium.
- Attendants will make every effort to accommodate the parties of guests who use wheelchairs with appropriate seating. For the safety of all guests, some members of large parties may be asked to watch the ceremony from an area that is separate from the wheelchair section.
- Guests with limited mobility and other members of their parties should ask a uniformed attendant for seating assistance once their parties are complete. Saving seats is not permitted in Memorial Stadium.
- Attendants will make every effort to accommodate the parties of guests with limited mobility in an appropriate section. Guests will not need to use stairs or ramps to reach this area. For the safety of all guests, some members of large parties may be asked to watch the ceremony from an area that is separate from the limited mobility section.
- If any member of your party uses a wheelchair, and the vehicle that is being used has a government-issued accessibility tag, please enter the athletics complex via Gate 4 off 17th Street in the orange lot. Attendants will provide directions to the designated ADA lot.
- No prior parking arrangements are required for guests whose vehicles have ADA tags. Guests who do not have ADA tags or license plates may also follow the same instructions as listed above.
- Drivers may drop off guests who use wheelchairs at the nearest drive aisle to the stadium then park in the orange lot.
- Wheelchair users must bring their own wheelchairs, with personal identification attached and prominently displayed. Indiana University does not supply wheelchairs.
- If any member of your party has difficulty walking or using stairs or ramps but does not use a wheelchair, please enter the athletics complex via any gate.
- Drivers may drop off guests with limited mobility at the nearest drive aisle to the stadium then park in the orange lot.
- Golf cart drivers will be available to transport these guests from all parking areas directly to Memorial Stadium.
- No prior parking arrangements are required for guests who have limited mobility but do not use wheelchairs.
