- Your rescheduled Commencement date has not been determined yet. If you hope to be able to participate on the new date, please retain your rented apparel so that you can do so. The rescheduled date, once it has been set, will be announced via email to graduates, on university social media, and on this website.
- If you still need to order your cap and gown, order from our academic apparel partner, Herff Jones, at colleges.herffjones.com/college/iu, who will ship your cap and gown directly to your home address.
- Once your rescheduled Commencement date has been identified, we will work with HJ to announce an updated schedule for returning apparel.
Caps and gowns also will be distributed in the robing and lineup area on the day of each ceremony. However, picking up apparel on the day of your ceremony should be a last resort. Time will be short, supplies will be limited, and lines could potentially be long.
Cap and gown orders are available only for the closest upcoming ceremony. Students intending to graduate in the spring may not order apparel in the fall. Any orders placed in the fall will not be carried over to the spring, and refunds will not be given. Likewise, December grads may not order caps and gowns in the spring.
